Welcome to Desborough Library and Community Hub

Desborough Library and Community Hub welcomes you...

Desborough Library and Community Hub (DLCH) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) set up in July 2018 to takeover the running of Desborough Library and open up the building to new ideas, creating a community hub for the whole town to use.

The Hub is a place for young and old to make the most of all the library offers now in core time, with the addition of adult education courses, film shows, fitness classes and space to hire in the evenings and at the weekends - as well as during the day whenever possible.

Nothing has been lost but much has been gained, through the hard work of volunteers and supporters.

We formally took over the running of the library on 2nd. January 2020 and are looking forward to working with the community in the future, and hopefully we can do so now as we move out of the pandemic.

In February 2020, Sue Moorcroft, a bestselling local author, became a Patron of Desborough Library and we look forward to working with her in the future for the benefit of our library.

At the end of March 2020, the library purchase was finally concluded and DLCH look froward to keeping the town's library up and running for many years to come - with your help and support.
